FAQ
The questions everyone asks.
What if I cancel? +
After your initial 12-month term, cancel anytime with 30 days' notice — no penalty, no pressure. If you cancel during the first 12 months, the $499 setup fee is charged at cancellation. That's the only cancellation cost, ever.
Who owns the website? +
You own your domain name from day one — it's registered in your name. The site itself is built and hosted on our infrastructure as part of your subscription. If you ever leave, we can transfer the site code to you for a small migration fee, or you can take just the domain and content.
Why a monthly fee instead of a one-time payment? +
Two reasons. First, websites aren't a "build it and forget it" thing — hosting, security updates, content changes, and Google algorithm shifts all require ongoing work. A flat monthly fee covers all of it without surprise invoices. Second, $0 upfront removes the biggest barrier most owner-operated businesses face when going online for the first time.
How long does it take to build? +
Most sites are live within 14 days of receiving your content. Faster if you have photos and service info ready to go; longer if we're helping you collect those.
Can I make my own changes? +
Edits go through us — that's part of the service. Send a message describing what you want changed and it's handled, usually within 1–2 business days. Launch includes 1 edit per month, Grow includes 3. Larger overhauls (new sections, new pages) are quoted separately.
What if my business is outside Halton Region? +
We're focused on Halton — Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and Halton Hills — for now. If you're in Mississauga, Brampton, or another nearby region, get in touch and we'll let you know when we're expanding. The launch rate is Halton-only.
What if I already have a website? +
If your current site is doing the job, you don't need us. If it's outdated, slow, hard to update, or not bringing in calls, we'll usually rebuild from scratch — it's faster and cheaper than retrofitting. Book a call and we'll take a look.
Why is the launch rate "for life"? +
We're new in Halton, and we'd rather build a base of long-term local clients than chase the maximum monthly rate. The first 25 businesses to sign on get $149 for as long as they stay subscribed. After spot 25, new signups pay the standard $199.
